LET'S HOPE he's more concerned than he was about Rwanda:
UN SECRETARY-General Kofi Annan has urged Spain to treat migrants humanely after a series of deaths amid the hundreds trying to get into Europe via their enclaves in Morocco.

Eleven people have been killed in the last 10 days as migrants tried to get into Europe by crossing the razor wire fences around Melilla and Ceuta.

Annan said: "The secretary-general believes these regrettable events in this one region of the world point to a wider problem in dealing with the inevitable and necessary flow of people across borders."
Next time he'll probably threaten with a resolution, or something.

Yes, I'm perfectly aware that this post is a cheap shot. And proud of it.
