CAN WE BELIEVE the Nobel Committee when they say that the reason for picking the IAEA and its chief, Mohammed ElBaradei is the organization's efforts to limit the spread of atomic weapons?

After Carter's prize, I'd say no; my impression is that ElBaredei won the prize because of his positions during the runup for the Iraq war.

Hans Blix must be really jealous.
