I'm still not sold on the flying car concept: it's cool in theory, yeah, but if people are lousy drivers on 2D, they'll be worse in 3D, not only having to pay attention to what happens on left, right, front, and back, but what happens above and below too... And wait until a small fender bender sends debris falling down onto pedestrians' heads. Lotsa fun.

There's a reason why flying, even by heavily trained people, is extremelly controlled by, well, air traffic controllers...
