AM I the only one to think that this NY Times headline ("Nazis Were Given ‘Safe Haven’ in U.S., Report Says") doesn't reflect what the article says? Maybe I read too fast, but I see nothing of sorts; rather, efforts to find them, to making sure they didn't enter in the country, to pressure other countries to reveal their existence, and to severe ties with them as soon as US officials knew they had a dark past. Am I missing something here?
